The Boogie Brothers was created by Tim and Russ in February 1999. Tim had played solo guitar and Russ was a former DJ in Norfolk. At a summer party we decided to set up a mobile disco and karaoke. The seed was sewn, we assembled the extra equipment and music we needed, and were soon making a name for ourselves.

Since then many people have enjoyed great parties in numerous locations such as 1700 at the Students Ball, Winter Gardens, Eastbourne, Pubs, Village Halls, Hotels (one in Carlisle!), Night Clubs and a Barbeque in a farmers back garden! We have 2 Booking Agents, 3 experienced DJ's and an excellent reputation throughout East and West Sussex and particularly in the Eastbourne area. Russ left a school band after a pathetic effort at playing drums. At the age of 19, he worked in Norfolk running the Aquarius Disco and Lightshow with the late great Bill McLean and his blood brother Ivan (DJ Tantrum!). Russ is a very experienced DJ and combines good humour with the right choice of songs to make your night a success. He has DJ'd at a wide range of events including Motivational Conferences, Sales Seminars, Auctions, Corporate Events, Cabaret evenings as well as numerous Birthdays and Weddings! He has a relentless passion for, and a very good knowledge of, music from the 50's up to current chart hits. 6 Decades of Music and numerous genres!

Tim has performed live on guitar for a number of years but is now playing drums in the Band Foul Play. His repertoire is extensive and his knowledge of songs means he is the ideal warm up man for any karaoke night. He has just 'retired' from 7 years at The Nuthouse, Eastbourne and has limited availability for other gigs. He has been known to venture into small rooms with the radio mic to seek out those reluctant to sing! Ask him to tell you about the Bexhill Pub gig, especially the competition Russ eventually won thanks to the Landlady!

DJ Dunk is an honorary Boogie Brother and built up good experience of mobile discos and parties running The Red Alert Disco in Eastbourne. He is a very passionate DJ and has received some excellent testimonials from happy customers. Dunk is now DJ at several top clubs around the South East including Kings in Eastbourne. As Dunk has progressed to Clubs, he has limited availability for mobile discos but please always ask us. Anyone who can mix Two Can Play That Game, Bobby Brown into Insomnia, Faithless must be class!!!

Jez of Party Animal Disco has helped us out a great deal when bookings have overflowed and will negotiate his own terms with you as Party Animal Disco. Jez has a lot of experience of Corporate Events in and around the Brighton area and is available to cover East and West Sussex and beyond. He is also a Qualified Sound Engineer with PAT tested equipment and Public Liability Insurance (PLI).
